The Transport Principle of the DRF Luftrettung – quick and safe

With a fleet of more than 50 helicopters and four ambulance aircraft the DRF Luftrettung is able to answer to almost any challenge in emergency rescue.

The DRF Luftrettung flies emergency rescue missions or intensive transports with different helicopter types and for international patient transports ambulance aircraft are employed. Maintenance works on the whole fleet take place regularly in the organisation's own facilities. In that way each HEMS base receives the helicopter which meets best its needs and which is state-of-the-art as to medicine and aviation.
