The DRF Luftrettung sets high quality standards in the fields of aircraft operations, in the technical branch and medicine. This high competence is the result of continual research and retraining.
The DRF Luftrettung focuses its work on the patients and the emergency and intensive care for them. In order to be able to offer this service on a high level in the future and to enhance it continually, the DRF Luftrettung employs an internal quality management system.
The internal quality management system defines how employees of the different departments can organise all their workflows and optimise them. The quality management handbook provides guidelines, in which the operative part of the DRF Luftrettung has set itself rules according to internationally valid standards. The quality management system serves to find room for improvement in internal workflows and thus to work constantly on a very high level.
The DRF Luftrettung ensures optimum patient care with ample know-how in medicine. It sets standards in air rescue, i.e. when it comes to medical data recording, patient security and staff training.
