Technical Know-How

New aeronautical technology with modern medical equipment

Safety and speed distinguish the DRF Luftrettung. The fleet logistics and the strategic planning are assured in the Opereation-Center. The fleet is modernised regularly in order to bring it to the latest level of technical development. To maintain the helicopters and ambulance aircraft the DRF Luftrettung operates two own EASA Part 145 approved maintenance facilities.

The ambulance aircraft and the Eurocopter helicopters of the DRF Luftrettung are maintained by their own highly qualified aircraft inspectors and aircraft technicians, for the rescue crews have to be able to rely on the aircraft technology and the medical equipment to a hundred per cent.
