Deployment characteristics

You could soon be flying this BK117 C2 helicopter. Previously, it has only taken off for DRF Luftrettung and our crews’ missions. It has been continuously maintained by our expert Part-145 maintenance organisation for precisely these missions.

From the very first moment that this helicopter became part of our fleet, it reaped the benefits of our exceedingly high standards and quality expectations. For example, we safeguard its first-class conditions by using parts-by-the-hour (PBH) agreements with manufacturers for the airframe and engines.

Consequently, we have been able to rely on the service of this aircraft to this very day. It remains a faithful companion and assistant for our air rescuers as they perform their life-saving missions.
